ams OSRAM extends with CFO Rainer Irle until 2030

Premstaetten, Austria, and Munich, Germany (15 October 2025) – The Supervisory Board of ams-OSRAM AG has approved a new contract with Chief Financial Officer Rainer Irle, effective immediately and running until October 15, 2030. The current contract would have expired on June 30, 2026.

Dr. Margarete Haase, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of ams OSRAM, said: “Over the past two years, Rainer Irle has played a key role in securing and strengthening the financial basis of ams OSRAM. We would like to thank him for his tireless work in accelerating the improvement of the company's financial structure and increasing its efficiency. With this new contract, we recognize Rainer Irle’s achievements and look forward to continuing our exceptionally good working relationship with him.”

Rainer Irle has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of ams OSRAM since July 1, 2023. He was appointed to this position by the ams OSRAM Supervisory Board in March 2023. The 55-year-old has many years of experience in the semiconductor industry and, prior to joining ams OSRAM, was CFO of Siltronic AG since 2013. Previously, he held various management positions in finance at Siltronic and Wacker Chemie AG.

Rainer Irle began his professional career at A.T. Kearney and Deutsche Bank. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, and a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Siegen.
